The workshop will start with a group lesson on the basics of watercolor painting, as well as some specialized techniques based on the workshop theme. Then, each participant will receive one-on-one guidance based on their own style preferences, skill level, and goals for their finished painting.

Both realistic and cartoon styles are supported, so feel free to bring your own inspiration of the styles you like and would like to imitate.

Bring a picture or two of your pet in the size you want your painting to be (up to 8.5 x 11) that can be used for tracing or a sketch you would like to learn to paint. Due to the flexibility of the workshop, participants may be able to paint several very small pictures, or be more adventurous by painting with several pets posed together.
